What you be doing in this role:

The Project Manager, Development is responsible for managing assigned projects from initiation to delivery with a distinct approach to clinical service line fundraising, including project definition, assignment of responsibilities, organizing project teams, setting deadlines, and managing the advancement of fundraising strategies. This position manages all or most phases of the project and resources, using industry standard project management tools and techniques. Ensures that all phases of the project are completed per project timeline and scope. In collaboration with key partners, this role identifies and resolves obstacles to completing projects on time and purpose.

  • Closely partners with Manager of Campaign Strategy and Gift Officers to ensure donor alignment strategies.
  • Develops and documents plans that ensure all necessary preparation, execution tasks and dependencies are identified and included. Ensures that necessary resources and skills are allocated for project success. Assess needs and calls out, if needed.
  • Responsible for the oversight of functional projects, including, partnering closely with subject matter experts to help gather, assess and track project deliverables. Hold project teams accountable for project deliverables.
  • Provides cross-functional solution direction and guidance, including aiding in resolving any conflicting project decisions. Discuss business case scenarios, present to upper management and guide team on implementing the best solution through consensus.
  • Operates as a full cross-functional member of the project team. Supports project leadership and other team members.
  • May create or review project communications and/or donor-facing materials with all collaborators, in partnership with project leadership.
  • In conjunction with leadership, will assist with planning and managing fiscal budgets, financials, and other resources to ensure utilization within the project guidelines, if applicable.
  • Responsible for implementing later phase solutions, if applicable.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in health care, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years Project Management, Project support and/or leadership experience required.
