Each year, almost 500,000 inpatient and outpatient exams and procedures are performed and interpreted at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Our radiologists & imaging specialists are board certified by the American Board of Radiology in their respective subspecialties. Our subspecialized imaging physicians, American College of Radiology certified technologists and customer-service oriented staff provide our patients with pioneering imaging technologies and innovative treatment options in a compassionate environment.
Summary of Essential Duties:
- Performs item counts of medical exam and administrative office supplies for the department to ensure appropriate par-levels
- Accurately records quantities necessary to restore supply par-levels on inventory control forms
- For supply deliveries, accurately counts items and verifies that quantities and descriptions match what is on the invoice
- Notes all discrepancies on appropriate inventory control form and/or packaging slip
- Puts away supplies in designated storage areas and maintains neat and orderly organization of items
- Maintains cleanliness of storage areas to assure infection control and efficacy of supplies
- Accurately inputs orders into PeopleSoft (or order/procurement) system
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Experience:
- 2 years of experience dealing with inventory preferred
- Experience in a healthcare environment preferred
- Windows-based PC proficiency required
