Santa Monica Orthopaedic Group (SMOG) in conjunction with Cedars-Sinai Orthopaedics is expanding in Los Angeles market and is seeking Board Certified Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician to join the Group.

Santa Monica Orthopaedic Group is a premier orthopaedic practice in Western Los Angeles. Currently the group consists of 17 physicians all of whom meet the highest standards of education, training and experience. In addition to our physicians, the group has assembled many of the top nurses, technicians and therapists ready to assist patients in any way possible. Our physicians are constantly involved in the development of new techniques and treatments to remain on the leading edge of orthopaedic medicine. This includes work with the National Institute of Health as well as some of the world’s leading medical technology companies. In addition, SMOG has developed a nationally-recognized fellowship program that annually trains 2-3 orthopaedic surgeons from around the country in the most advanced techniques of patient care for all aspects of Sports Medicine.

Our compensation philosophy
We offer a competitive total compensation and benefits package to our physicians.  The total pay range shown takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range includes incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. 

Pay Range: $313,023 - $474,089 Total Cash Compensation.


Qualifications

  • Board Certification in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine.
  • Fellowship training in Sports Medicine.
  • Eligibility for unrestricted Physician California license.
  • Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of California.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional collaboration abilities with partners and staff.
  • Proven knowledge and success in clinical skills.
