Hours: Need to be flexible - combination of working days, evenings and nights.
The per diem Technical Assistant in our Imaging/MRI at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center will be working closely with the MRI Technologists to assist in everything needed to maintain workflow and maximize dept efficiency. Includes transporting patients to and from the medical center, getting outpatients changed and ready for their MRI, walking patients to and from the scanners and helping to position on the scanner. Will also be responsible to maintain clean rooms, and help with inventory. Will participate in MR safety and assure that patients and the area are always MRI safe. Dept is 24/7 and shifts and amount of hours worked are based on dept needs with rotations on all shifts. Expect to work weekends, evenings and graveyard. Must be organized, have attention to details, listen and communicate well. Demonstrates aptitude to learn new processes and specialized equipment. Must work with a high level of engagement within a very busy team. Potential to become full time position.
Hospital experience preferred.
lifting standing walking. moving patients from gurneys and wheelchairs to scanners. must be cleared as MR SAFE for ZONE IV MRI environment and maintain ZONE IV status to work in MRI.
