What you will be doing:
The Senior Communications Specialist develops and implements strategic communications plans and activities promoting Cedars-Sinai Health System’s clinical and research expertise.
This individual will possess will play a key role in identifying strategic, innovative news and feature ideas for various internal communications channels: and developing stories, collateral materials, editing written materials, working with the visuals team to manage, assign and edit photos, and assisting in the production of internal publications. Also will work closely with the Director of Internal Communications to assist with employee-facing organizational communications initiatives and special projects, including oversight of communications campaigns.

The Sr Communications Specialist will collaborate with others across Marketing and Communications and with other Cedars-Sinai programs, staff and faculty, to execute on projects. As a true collaborator is courteous, and professional in daily interactions with physicians, nurses, staff members, patients and others, while juggling multiple projects and deadlines.
Possess exceptional writing and editing skills. Has excellent project management skills and experience with project management systems, solid organizational skills, including knowledge of online databases, as they efficiently manage project plans and deadlines.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelors Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related studies required. Master's Degree preferred
- Proven experience of 5 or more years in Communications, related to communications, public relations/media relations or marketing.
