What you be doing in this role:
In this hybrid role, the Senior Prospect Research Analyst is responsible for performing advanced research to support the department in identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors and prospective donors whose philanthropic resources and interests align with Cedars-Sinai philanthropic opportunities. Under the direction from leadership, the Senior Prospect Research Analyst is responsible for driving prospect research activities for assigned units/portfolio, in direct collaboration with frontline fundraisers and support staff. Manages research requests focused on specific prospects, produces profiles and other similar work products, and collaborates with leadership to complete prospect identification projects.
- A High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Library Science or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience with prospect research in a major gifts environment, fundraising and database management, financial or business analysis, library sciences, or other related experience required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an academic medical center, nonprofit organization, university or similar institution highly preferred.
