What you be doing in this role:
The Senior Departmental Financial Analyst prepares and provides regular and ad-hoc financial reports, performs analyses of financial reports, creates presentations, and makes recommendations within their assigned departments and service lines. The Senior Departmental Financial Analyst serves as trainer/mentor to non-senior staff, and is an escalation point for complex issues and troubleshooting. May serve as a liaison to management between various department and Finance. Applies detailed knowledge of the areas of assigned responsibility, and of the department functions and its interrelation with the larger organization. Capable of operating with independence and with little supervision.
Bachelor's Degree Accounting, finance or relevant/related field required.
A minimum or 3 years Financial analysis, financial auditing, or accounting experience required.
Analytical: Ability to apply critical thinking to analyze and interpret information and data.
Technical: Ability to use software applications and operate technological devices (email, computer.) Word processing, spreadsheets, presentation development, Access database.
Communication: Ability to convey and receive written and verbal information to and from various audiences in different formats. Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations.
Time Management: Ability to demonstrate time management and priority setting skills.
