What will you be doing in this role:

The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Strategist will drive search optimization for both web and mobile.  This position will own SEO strategy and be part of the day-to-day execution and maintenance, including keyword research, analysis, portfolio management, and opportunity analysis. They will work closely with the development teams and key stakeholders to communicate technical details and explain tactics and execution. The Senior SEO Strategist will be responsible for the ongoing reporting of performance and evolution of the SEO strategy to achieve KPIs and align with Cedars-Sinai's vision and mission. 

  • Collaborate with multiple teams to build user-friendly products optimized for search; serve as SEO expert for digital product teams.
  • Independently conduct optimizations focused on improving on-site organic targeting.
  • Own strategy and day-to-day execution of local SEO implementation.
  • Perform keyword and search trend research to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities; educate writers and editors on implementation.
  • Work with dev team to implement technical SEO best practices.
  • Conduct site-wide SEO audits.
  • Spot errors in page code and recommend corrections.
  • Review new and existing page templates for optimization purposes.
  • Serve as an in-house expert, advocating for best practices and educating colleagues.
  • Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends and development.
  • Utilize reporting and analysis tools to generate reports that track and communicate the business impact of SEO initiatives.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to align on SEM/SEO strategy.

Experience Requirements:

Three (3) plus years with hands-on experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Five years is preferred.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree. (preferred)
