The S. Mark Taper Foundation Imaging Center, a division of Cedars-Sinai, offers a full range of imaging services for adults and children. Each year, almost 500,000 inpatient and outpatient exams and procedures are performed and interpreted at the center. Our physicians are board certified by the American Board of Radiology in their respective subspecialties. Our subspecialized imaging physicians, American College of Radiology certified technologists and customer-service oriented staff provide our patients with state-of-the-art imaging technologies and innovative treatment options in a compassionate environment.
Summary of Essential Duties:
- Responsible for the daily coordination of the Imaging PACU workflow, including work assignment(s) of the CNII, CNIII, and CP's.
- Collaborates with the ANM to create staff schedules. Works with physicians, and the ANM to troubleshoot complex clinical issues.
- Assures all policies and procedures are adhered to accurately.
- Identifies opportunities to improve/streamline workflow and other processes to optimize efficiency of resources.
- Responsible for the patient experience in the Imaging PACU up to and including patient assessment, education, and post procedure follow up when appropriate.
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing required
- Current California Registered Nurse license.
- ACLS, PALS from the American Heart Association required
- Certified Radiology Nurse Certification required when eligible to take the exam.
- A minimum of 5 years of patient care experience in an acute care setting, critical care and or emergency nursing required.
