What will you be doing in this role?
Using your knowledge of payroll process, Federal and State labor laws. Must handle the research, processing and communicating of pay changes to employees/departments. Duties include Kronos editing, data entries for payroll deductions, tax withholding changes, reconciliation of payroll deductions and liabilities, analyzing and resolving pay discrepancies, printing paychecks, and other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED Required
- At least 3 months payroll experience in a high volume and in-house payroll processing required.
- Knowledge of SDI/Worker's Comp integration of pay, payroll deductions, tax withholdings required.
- Understanding of Federal and State labor laws,
- Customer service oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel and Word.
Experience we are Seeking:
- Associate or Bachelors degree preferred.
- Experience in Kronos preferred.
- Experience in Lawson preferred.
