The Enterprise Information Services (EIS) team at Cedars-Sinai understands that true clinical transformation and the optimization of a clinical information systems implementation is fueled through the alignment of the right people, processes and technologies.

The Partnership and Ecosystem Development Lead will work to elevate the profile of the Cedars-Sinai Accelerator program by supporting development of organizational partnerships, engagement with outside innovation groups, program and curriculum development, and ongoing support of various innovation activities associated with the accelerator program. 

Under the direction of the Managing Director and in collaboration with other members of the accelerator team, this role will support and facilitate a variety of external and internal initiatives to grow and support the healthcare innovation ecosystem cultivated by the accelerator program. The Program Director will also provide mentorship to companies based on his or her background and areas of expertise in the healthcare industry.

Tasks will include, but are not limited to:
• Interfacing with various external groups and individuals to develop relationships and programming to support the accelerator program
• Planning and support for special events, workshops, and programs at the innovation space
• General promotional support, including development and maintenance of social media content for accelerator accounts
• Mentorship of companies participating in the accelerator program
• Strategic planning for ongoing support and growth of alumni companies and the innovation community
• Recruiting and supporting the selection process for companies to participate in the Cedars-Sinai Accelerator
• Administrative and logistical support of the accelerator and associated activities.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MPH, MHA or other advanced degree preferred. 
A combination of education and experience will be considered. 

Minimum 5-8 years healthcare industry experience.

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare industry, including previous experience at a large health system, healthcare IT vendor, digital health startup, or healthcare investment firm (required)
  • Experience with early-stage startups and/or innovation/entrepreneurship programs, including interaction with founders and CEOs (required)
  • Experience in partnership development with non-profit partners, start-ups, community groups and/or government agencies
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in developing externally facing content for program promotion, including social media materials
  • Previous success in an externally facing role with significant amounts of public interaction
  • Experience demonstrating the ability to handle multiple tasks frequently with short timelines, to prioritize and organize work and to complete assignments in a timely, accurate manner 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and previous experience in using user-friendly SaaS systems (MailChimp, Affinity, Google Docs, SquareSpace or similar products

May need to attend day-long conferences or events with limited opportunities to sit down
