College degree or a comparable level of education and experience.
License/Certification/Registration Requirements: N/A
Working knowledge of building systems operations, maintenance and construction required. Familiarity with the building trade and other work of the areas of responsibility, in a hospital setting. Experience with similar tasks and responsibilities in a hospital setting preferred. Progressively responsible experiences, demonstrating ability to supervise, set priorities and handle multiple projects or assignments and meet completion schedules within established timeframes. Positive customer service skills a must.

This position requires a great deal of sitting, walking and standing. This position requires a great deal of sitting, walking and standing for extend periods. Be able to tolerate heat, noise, dust, smoke, unpleasant odors, and chemicals. Must be adept at handling themselves in potentially dangerous situations and areas (personnel and equipment). Must be able to stay alert at all times, even during extended hours and night. Must be available to provide uninterrupted watches and unscheduled overtime. Must be able to work weekends.
