Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nights

As a night shift Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, ideal candidate must have a highly developed knowledge of general objectives in nuclear medicine methodologies, equipment, radio-pharmacy, radiation safety, computer skills, human anatomy and physiology, and current experience in a hospital environment. Experience in PET or PET/CT is preferred. ARRT CT certification is preferred. Applicant must be well organized with superior attention to detail, demonstrate aptitude to learn and master new techniques, protocols and procedures including specialized equipment, provide quality patient care and be comfortable performing procedures on patients of all ages and diverse cultural backgrounds. Applicant must be versed in all QC applications, work well in a team environment, and be a skilled communicator. Position requires frequent sitting, standing, lifting and occasional walking.

Educational Requirements:

Graduation from accredited school of Nuclear Medicine

California State Certification and NMTCB or ARRT Certification required.
BLS card by AHA

1 year experience in an acute clinical setting employed or as a student. Exposure to radiation, and blood borne pathogens. 

Physical demands:
Candidate must be able to lift 20-40 lbs for a distance of 10 feet - position requires lifting, standing and walking.
