Medical Director Clinical Transformation

The Medical Director of Clinical Transformation will be responsible for leading and supporting collaborative efforts focused on improving the value of health care throughout Cedars-Sinai. The Medical Director will work with multi-disciplinary teams, both within Clinical Transformation and with other stakeholders, to provide clinical perspectives that enhance clinical efficiency and appropriateness of care. This work will include re-design of processes of care, implementation of clinical and operational improvements, clinical decision support, and other innovations. The goal is to meet the needs of third-party payers to enhance Cedars-Sinai’s competitiveness to secure payer contracts AND to ensure that Cedars-Sinai achieves internal clinical efficiencies to enhance operational performance—all while maintaining or improving the overall quality of care delivered.

Essential Qualifications:
• Medical Degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certification or Board Eligible in clinical specialty (Internal Medicine preferred but not required)
• Unrestricted California license as Physician
• Eligible for appointment to the appropriate academic rank in the CSMC Professorial Series.
