Assigned to provide clerical, presenting, and consulting support for the HR Licensure, Regulatory and Survey Support Department. Under the direction of the HR-Supervisor, and work guidance of the Services Coordinator, will be responsible for maintaining, centralizing, and assuring correct updated data of employees' Primary Source Verification (PSV) of job's required professional licensures. This may include sorting of data reports, data entry, monthly notifications (via e-mail and regular mail), and communications with employees, SDANs, educators, Managers, Directors, VPs, and HR staff.
Assists with building Power Point presentations, presenting, consulting, and coordination of file maintenance, and regulatory education.
Assists with regulatory accreditation work prior, during, and after surveys, including but not limited to employee department competency file audits, data entry showing outcomes of audit's compliance, reports preparations and outcomes dissemination to corresponding organization areas, which includes different hierarchy levels of customers.
High School education required.
Some college education with courses in business, computer operation/applications, and correspondence.
2 + general office experience in a clerical, administrative assistant and/or general office capacity role.
Human Resources experience preferred.
Regulatory/survey awareness of The Joint Commission, Department of Health, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services preferred.
Hospital and HR experience preferred.
Regulatory documentation, and employee file maintenance experience a huge plus and preferred.
Oracle HCM Cloud, or PeopleSoft experience preferred.
General clerical experience.
PowerPoint, Word, Excel experience required.
Strict attention to detail, follow through, and consistency.
Strong understanding of mail merge.
Strong customer service skills.
Computer website navigation experience (will need to navigate the Breeze licensure website, and other licensure websites to obtain licensure's PSVs).
Ability to move throughout all areas of the immediate and adjacent Medical Center and Health System Campus, sit for long periods of time and perform data entry, bending down, packing, and moving items of about 20-25 lbs.
