The Histocompatibility Tech (HLA Tech) in our Comprehensive Transplant Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is a professional member of the HLA Laboratory Staff who works under the direct supervision of the supervisory personnel.  As much as ninety percent of the time is spent performing routine tasks requiring entry level cognitive, manipulative, and problem-solving skills.  Activities include operation and QC of test equipment, elementary level testing, and interfacing with other hospital departments.  Additional duties include general support functions necessary for the routine operation of laboratory activities.
Education:

• BA or BS in a biological field.  Keen sense of responsibility and care with respect to details.  Willingness to take direction.  Applicant must have full color vision (i.e., not be color-blind)

BA or BS. in biological sciense

Experience in laboratory is required.
