Director, Workplace Investigations

The Director, Workplace Investigations, promotes and supports Cedars-Sinai's compliance with federal and state labor and employment laws, and leads the investigation of workplace complaints of unprofessional conduct. The Director will be primarily responsible for leading and conducting investigations of allegations of potential violations of employment laws, including, but not limited to discrimination, harassment and retaliation, and other serious violations of Cedars-Sinai policies. Prepares reports and data analysis for legal review, provide guidance to Cedars-Sinai management. This role will also provide training, guidance and support to human resources professionals and other departments surrounding investigative methodology and report preparation. 
Educational Requirements: 
Doctorate Degree - Juris Doctorate with a focus on employment law minimum required. 
Bachelor's Degree - Human Resources or a related field preferred. 

Experience: 
10 years of combined human resources, labor relations, investigative, or legal experience required.
10 years of substantial experience conducting HR investigations, including complainant, witness and employee interviews, investigative data analysis, and production of investigative documentation required. 
10 years of experience in healthcare setting preferred.

License/Certification: 
Licensed Attorney in CA upon hire required. 
AWS-CH (Association of Workplace Investigators Certificate Holder upon hire preferred.
