The Enterprise Information Services (EIS) team at Cedars-Sinai understands that true clinical transformation and the optimization of a clinical information systems implementation is fueled through the alignment of the right people, processes and technologies.
What will you be doing in this role?
Independently works with other EIS technical staff to install, maintain, troubleshoot and optimize departmental and enterprise-wide databases.
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Requires 3 years in production database administration experience in a production environment.
Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager or BMC products is preferred.
Requires experience in project management, systems and database administration and integration, user relations, and vendor interactions.
Requires experience in SQL, DDL, DCL, and DML programming.
Requires solid experience with Cache, Oracle SQL*NET, SQL*Loader, SQL Plus and Import/Export utilities in an Windows server 2003/8 and/or UNIX environment.
Requires experience in monitoring, tuning, and administrating one or more Oracle10 and/or Oracle11g or Cache instances.
Experience with patient care-oriented databases and hospital-based financial and administrative database applications preferred. MySQL skills preferred.
