Do you work well in a large team environment patients where critical thinking is essential?

As a Clinical Exercise Physiologist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in our Imaging Nuclear Medicine, you will have the technical cardiac evaluation skills required, and will routinely assist in the performance of cardiac stress testing. These skills include, but are not limited to, EKG monitoring for stress, performing preliminary interpretation to both rest and stress electrocardiograms, and performing quality control of all data associated with stress testing and submission of results for final interpretation. Under general supervision, you will demonstrate knowledge and competency including but not limited to: You will perform treadmill, bicycle, and pharmacological stress testing including EKG preparation and obtaining accurate blood pressures. The Clinical Exercise Physiologist demonstrates ability to recognize serious arrhythmia's and ST segment abnormalities and responds with appropriate action. He/she is aware of the contraindications of testing. Full command (verbal and written) of the English language.

Education:

  • MS degree in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science required

Licenses:

  • BLS by American Heart Association
