What will you be doing in this role?

The Ultrasound Technologist II performs breast ultrasound exams and procedures primarily at the breast center. The incumbent is an intermediate level professional that performs a broad range of scans from basic to somewhat complex relative to a specific patient population and may assist physicians in performing procedures as well as transport medications from the delivery area to an authorized imaging area.

Educational Requirements: 

High School Diploma/GED required
Vocational/Technical Diploma from a Sonography Program required
Associate Degree's/College Diploma from a Sonography Program preferred 


Basic Life Support Certification required
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification - Abdomen or OB/GYN - issued by ARDMS required
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification - Breast - issued by ARDMS required


3 years of Sonography experience in a clinical setting required
