Brand Strategy Specialist

The Brand Strategy Specialist will assist the Brand Strategy department in executing strategies and tactics for the overall strategic communications plan for client groups.  This individual will serve as the liaison between the department and program leads. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to work with all levels within the organization to influence end results.  The Brand Strategy Specialist must have at least three years of progressive work experience preferably in a healthcare environment as well as a strong knowledge of community engagement. The ability to coordinate and lead multiple complex projects with limited supervision is required to be successful in this role. The Brand Strategy Specialist will report to the Associate Director of Brand Strategy.

Job Duties: 


  • Lead and coordinate projects as assigned by management; manage project lists, deliverable, timelines
  • Assist the department in executing strategies and tactics for overall marketing and communications plan, consult with the department on tactics for ad/branding campaigns
  • Serve as the primary contact for program leads in the development of marketing campaigns while working closely with the department for approval
  • Compose written materials to support program needs such as blog posts, website updates, publications, social media posts, media advisories and other complex projects/events.
  • Research and analyze markets; provide information and reports for the department and client group review
  • Conduct research through online patient advisory panel, completing surveys, engaging organizational stakeholders and providing reports.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree (Communication; Public Health; or Marketing Preferred)


Experience: 

3 years Healthcare, community or non-profit experience preferred

  • Extensive knowledge in database applications including Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Ability to identify, summarize and report critical data
  • Excellent data organization skills, ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple and complex assignments/projects with limited supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of the organization to influence end results; Strong verbal and written communication skills

Stand dynamically to perform a function and move to perform another.

Stand statically in one place to perform a function without changing location.

Sit at a desk or table with some walking, standing, bending, stooping, or carrying of light objects.

Perform continuous operation of a personal computer for four hours or more

Use hands and fingers to handle and manipulate objects and/or operate equipment
