The Professional Revenue Integrity Manager position is responsible for the leadership of the Revenue Integrity team for the Cedars-Sinai Medical Network, Foundation and Faculty providers. As a key leader within the Revenue Cycle Compliance team, this role works in partnership with audit and education/training managers to facilitate best practices in coding, documentation, charge capture and compliance, serving and supporting all Cedars-Sinai physicians, APP providers and operations staff. The Manager will oversee the Revenue Integrity team, which is responsible for ensuring the highest level of efficiency, integrity and compliance within our revenue cycle operations. The team is tasked with enhancing the effectiveness of patient net revenue realization and minimizing revenue leakage across the system. This involves complete capture of patient revenue in every area that generates charges, EHR management in relation to charging mechanisms and triggers, ensuring clean handoffs between clinical departments and revenue cycle, Strategic Pricing, denials management, and clinical operations relations.
High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare, or a related field preferred.
CPC or other coding certifications preferred. EPIC Revenue Guardian certification preferred.
Five (5) years of experience with Physician Business Services (PBS) or Patient Financial Services (PFS) Accounts Receivable management. Leadership experience in a complex academic, research, healthcare or governmental setting, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Three (3) years of coding and/or audit experience and leadership. An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements.
