The Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Adult Family Care Department. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Independently obtain a relevant health and medical history
  • Perform a physical examination based on age and history and dictates a progress note if needed with the appropriate physicians
  • Perform and/or orders preventive and diagnostic procedures based on the patient’s age and history
  • Help the physicians provide screening, consultation and answers to incoming questions from referring physicians
  • Identify health and medical risk factors

Educational Requirements:

  • Graduation from a Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the Board of Registered Nursing. 
  • MSN required

License/Certification Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license issued by the State of California.
  • National board certification for Nurse Practitioner
  • Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certificate required or eligible to obtain
  • Furnishing number issued by the Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Experience:

  • 1 year Primary Care Nurse Practitioner experience strongly preferred

Base Pay: $130,600.00 - $195,800.00

The base pay range shown above takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This base pay range does not include our comprehensive benefits package and any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role
